I realize this has been discussed many times already however it looks like it has to be refreshed...

I have miss placed my work I-phone somewhere in my room ( Yes sometimes it looks like a teenager sleeps in there and I am utilizing an old school phone with zero contacts not to mention it takes for ever to text

ALL my advertising and right at the bottom of my return email beside my phone number it says Please No Texting.... this is for a couple reasons and I am sure my fellow providers know what I mean ... I save bad dates, warnings and problem stalkers, the people I do text with are saved with nicknames so I know who the text is from.
I never book a therapy session to completion through text as I need to hear a males voice for all I know your wife/so/ daughter or a stranger could be corresponding with me ... with out a voice no bookie no nookie

Please be cautious and if you can not lock your phone up in a safe place PLEASE delete ALL correspondence when the conversation has ended !!!!!

These are the following texts I received last night after saying PLEASE email.

First text : Fuck Off
Second text : Don't text this number again or I will hunt you down.
Third text : Whore

OK now thing about this from my prospective
1) Now whoever contacts me that is not a reg or a board member I am going to wonder if my safety is at risk or being set up a scorned woman is a great detective.

2) I was suppose to go to a gathering tonight however I am reluctant to attend as I do not know if this person has attended or has info about it in their phone and his S/O is going to make an appearance

3) This is someone I have seen on at least a couple occasions and it makes me sad and sick to my stomach to think what he is going through, all though I did not answer the blocked call I am sure things are not going to be to good at home

4) As a woman who has been on the receiving side of a broken heart on more than one occasion due to the ego needing to be feed I know and feel what the woman is going through HOWEVER as a Provider my obligation is to my client

So please be more careful and place more confidentiality in your correspondence

I usually do not mind sending a couple texts back and forth especially if you have all ready booked a therapy a therapy session after all anticipation :np just please wait until I get back in touch with modern technology ...lol...

This is a very good example as to why many SP's are email contact only. Seems like you had a drunken angry pooner contacting you last night.

More like a wife who found her husbands phone... he had texted me about 30 min prior to the angry texts.at which time my response was "please email" .. because I am utilizing a new phone I have none of our conversation history

I am paranoid about these things.... have a dedicated phone with a SIM card from Speakout (7 Eleven) that is always password locked AND cannot be traced back to me... and I delete all texts after a session (that's why I never remember addresses and buzzer numbers). Bonus safety for EVERYONE.

Hohoho ... I feel for you so bad! I had a wife call me, fill my voice mail until full and then phone me for like an hour or so one call after another until she passed out I guess (she had been drinking). The messages were so threatening that by the 4th or 5th message my stomach was doing somersaults!

That was quite an evening to say the least! :fear:

I had something similar happen only it was a woman who thought her boyfriend was just hooking up, not paying escorts...she corresponded with me and actually encouraged me to out him publicly (which I would NEVER EVER do!) I also wrote a blog entry on the topic which she enjoyed reading and forwarded to a bunch of her girls. She let them all know it was about him.

I had a daughter call me, telling me that I was ruining her father's marriage. I suggested that she speak to her father, and I stopped answering the phone for a while. Then I got a call, asking for an outcall, but my spidey senses were tingling by that time, because the phone number had similar digits as the daughter's. I declined and, when the father called me the next time, I told him what had happened and I refused to see him after that...he made the excuse that his (adult) kids got a hold of his phone.
