I find I have progressed to now issuing three texts on the day of a pre-booked appointment to confirm it: one before noon to confirm, one just as I leave my residence, and one when I arrive to get the rest of the info. Even if I made the appointment that same morning, some ladies still want a confirmation text several hours before the appointment.
