I was a consultant on contract at Telus (in the big boot on Kingsway/Boundary). I can tell you that the way they work in there is really inefficient, and everyone acts like they are in government (ie: cynical, indifferent, stupid). They always have service interruptions because they con't know how to manage anything and their technicians are lazy. Furthermore, many are unionized and they take way too much time off or get paid ridiculous amounts of money for little work. I would not get mobile, internet, telephone, ... not anything from them at all. They truly suck.
