I was wondering if anyone knows if those new 4 colour technology TVs are really worth it? Are there any TV experts out there that would care to share what would be the best 55" or more TV to get right now.

Over 2 hands plus a mouthful big
No. The video data in DVDs & broadcasts (land based & satellite) is optimized to look correct with three-colour systems. Going to four colours actually degrades the image as the TV has to interpolate approximate equivalent four-colour combinations from the original three-colour image. It's just a gimmick to get folks to pay more for what is a commodity item.

Really the ultra thin LED tvs are poor for image quality?
Damn that's a shame, never seen them in person but I saw the hype at a CES (if I recall right) and they looked really cool.
