Beverly Hills. In the Kitchen eatin' vittles.
I need to replace my coffee maker.
I'm thinking about one of those Tassimo machines where it makes a variety of coffee, tea or other hot drinks one cup at a time.
Except for times I have a few people over, which is rare, I don't really need a 8 or 12 cup machine as I'm the only coffee drinker in the house (my 11 year old daughter and my cats don't like coffee).

Anyone have any experience with these?

have not tried tassimo but i have tried van houtte - extremely useful machine, but all the coffees and teas suck big time!

i wouldn't buy until you have spoken with a few people who have one (and whose tastes in coffee you agree with)

Try this model. Cheaper than the Tassimo, the coffee is cheaper, better and it is an all around excellent coffee maker.

It is also on sale everywhere right now.

I have a Tassimo single cup coffee maker, the barcode one from tv.
It works great, and for a single person saves lots of money.
You can use cheap coffee or expensive coffee brands with it.
A cup of Folgers or Nabob is about 60 cents each.
You can make all kinds of fancy coffees as well, and those are a dollar or more.

Only problem is finding the coffee, safeway carries a couple kinds, future shop has a few brands as well.
But most of the coffees that work in the machine need to be bought online from their store, they have some sort of automatic subscriptions for coffee.

But overall machine works great, fast, and cleans itself
