Tantra book/educational material recommendations

I am not looking for people to research materials for me. I am looking for recommendations from people who have in fact read or learned from the materials.
There are a lot of books available, however my experience with books on such topics is that many are incomplete and poorly written.
Can anyone give recommendations on such books and materials that they would endorse?

Just throwing in here on the topic of tantra:

My take is that unless you want to spend a lot of time on the subject with a partner who also can spend a lot of time, you may find its a lot of hooey. The breathing, the matching of each others qi, finding your chakras, the yoga, and on and on ... I mean if you want this to be about sex, my dabblings in the subject say you will take a long time to get there. I am sure there are a few experienced SP's who have been able to spend enough time on this to make something of it but this old boy wants his hour and change to not be part of a yoga and breathing class, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, that's my 2bits for what its worth and no, I have no references on this.
