For burner phones why not just use their 5 dollar plan for just texting. Don’t need to phone SP

Unless you want to visit the Fox Den. The only place left where you must phone them to book. So old-school!!

I signed up for Freedom mobile's one year plan. It gives me unlimited sms texting across Canada and 20 gig of data. Works perfect for me. I did have to upgrade my phone to 5g, but that was easily and cheaply done. I bought a relatively new Motorola phone with a broken screen for $40 and replaced the screen myself for $30. So for $70 I have a phone that should keep me going for another 5 to 8 years I'm guessing. The plan is approximately $130 for the year and was easy to setup anonymously at a local mall kiosk. Fake email address and home address and you are set. I even ported my original number to the new phone so I don't have to re-introduce myself to my regulars. I've been using it for 5 months and I love it.

^^ What I did as well. Freedom Mobile. Used phone. Fake name/ address. Only issue is it does not work so well rural, but near a city not a problem.

just use the Fongo app and subscribe to the monthly plan. you get a local number for texting and calling. super easy

I had never heard of this before and just checked this out, looks like a good option. If one had a significant other it just might be a bit sketch having the app on your phone.
