So here's my take. Sydney Sweeney is a lovely woman, and she's trying to build a career that spans multiple media platform. From her performances, I believe she has the ability to grow beyond her acting peers like Zendaya. Check out "It Happened Again Last Night", and "Immaculate". Her image is that of the classic American blonde hair blue eyed beauty. It is the look that Conservative and Far Right America has been desperate to find for a while now. They're desperate enough to skip over the "wholesome" aspect (due to her past acting roles) that their models must have in the past. That being said, regardless of her politics, regardless of her personal views, regardless of her belief system, her image will absolutely be co-opted by the Right for their own plans and designs. Unless she takes a stance and makes it clear that she does not want to be part of it she'll be without a doubt pulled into it.
Which makes it makes it kind of sad. To maintain her independence she'll have to take a very public stance that could very much alter her career and every interaction with the public afterwards. If you look at the ad, it's crazy wholesome, she's covered from head to toe in fabric, and not very flatteringly at that. They weren't really striking for any sort of controversy beyond some cheeky word play. So for those that say that it's Nazi propaganda like the poll suggests, that shouldn't be viewed as an accusation, it should be considered a warning of what it can co-opted for.

My take on Sydney Sweeney is that, yes she's extremely beautiful..... but hardly original.
I mean, me being a Gen-X burnout that I am, how many Cindy Crawfords, Kathy Irelands, Campbells, Turlingtons, Moss', Banks', Klums... have we seen grace our media all that time?....at least until the 2010s, then you KNOW where this conversation is going after that.
