Curious to know: Can only advertisers contribute here?
Say, what do you think of our little boys' club here in the lounge anyways?
Amused, bored?

Anyone may contribute.

If an non advertising SP contributes, they can not have any links to their SP world - website, twitter etc.

The best is to study PERB rules first-hand to avoid any surprises.

Anybody may contribute, but SPs have to be very careful not to say anything that might appear as unpaid advertising: "Posts that are considered to be advertising by other than paid advertisers will be removed. This includes any discussion of services or preferences and posting of pics by non-advertisers."

That is a BIG part of it, & it has gotten really clamped down on to the point where the current dictum is "No SP may comment on ANY business related topics in the Lounge".
"Dictum?"

From the Dictionary of Cowboyography , and the English language according to Sy.
Dictum: Verb
When a cowboy runs into two Buckle Bunnies at a rodeo dance , and leans over to his friend and says " I believe I dictum both"

That is sooooo funny, sybian.
I love your sense of 'slightly weird' humor.

Discussion of moderation is not permitted in open forum.
I don't understand why? I get that posts whining about a mod deleting something are bad, but doesn't it make sense that examples given related to the thread topic should stand? Perhaps then people might better understand the rules.

Generic questions about board policy or rules are ok, we’ll do are best to answer them but you were discussing a specific member. That’s not ok.
