You will be hearing and reading a lot about the new book of Susie Favor Hamilton, US middle distance track star, and Olympic athlete, titled "Fast girl".. In 2011 after taking antidepressants that made her even more manic than her manic depressive background, she went to Vegas and within a year became a top provider in Las Vegas, rated #2 on TER, at age 42. I watched the four part ABC TV show on the internet a couple of days ago that I think is showing tonight.

I am no fan of network TV, nor of people gaining fame from misfortune, nor of escort confessions, but I found this to be truly compelling entertainment, completely honest, and it has stayed we me for days. The connections between manic periods, medications, mental illness and her remarkable compulsions and success was something remarkable to watch. She makes no bones about why she started working in Vegas: she loved the high, the power, the attention and the sex. Kelly Lundy was her Vegas persona. She said she would probably still be working had she not got diagnosed with bi-polar disorder, taken off antidepressants and taking other meds to keep her more stable

Google her if interested, but also I highly recommend the TV special. It was well done and completely honest in my view.

I've seen the stories in all of the media. I think that what she's doing is very much like Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner. Having attention focused on her is so important that she's willing to do anything, say anything without regard for how it affects her family. According to the media, her husband Mark Hamilton was aware of her activity - it's not him that is going to pay the price. Her daughter will always have men pushing for sex and using the argument that her parents can't possibly complain.

Her husband didn't care because at that point in the relationship, they were pretty much living separate lives. How does her mother being a escort have any bearing on her own sex life?

You don't know of any men that have used things in a girl's life to get her to agree to sex? Here we are on an Escort Review Board, where men talk about getting women to "extend their menu" for money.

Her book said that her husband was worried about the damage to their daughter

According to Favor Hamilton, her husband Mark knew about her prostitution[22] and repeatedly objected to it because of the strain it placed on their marriage and negative effects it could have on their daughter.
