Just getting ready to put the brined and primed BBQ wings and the Louisiana hot sauced soaked prawns on the QUE. Great day of sports so far. Canada 2-0 over US in soccer, a great game Chiefs vs Bengals and now this one. Those 2 dropped passes for the Rams ... it would have been one different game.

I think the Bengals got this one, they managed to beat one of the best teams in the League at home while being close to blown out in the 1st half.

Rams beat a very bad offense in the 49ers, the hardly seem capable of putting up 20pts in a game.

I barely ever bet but think I will put 100 on the Bengals money at +165 moneyline.

This will be an interesting game. Im leaning toward the over 48.5. Cincy even with CJ Uzomah they still have more then enough scoring punch to race with the Rams. And there is just something about Burrow where he just puts up points everywhere he goes. As for who'll win I want to say the Rams but they won't cover. Not too sure yet. Take the over!

I agree...after watching the Bengals beat KC twice (late season game in Cinci and Sunday) I don't think I'd bet against them.
The bookies have the Rams at 4 points I believe?

I went to the Indian reservation today. The line went to 4.5 Bengals.

I jumped on that and put down 330 to win 300.

Bengals favored by 4.5 points?

No
Bengals favored by 4.5 points?

No rams minus 4.5 at the Casino where I placed my bet. Seems like taking the Bengals and the points is the way to go. These 2 teams don't seem to blow anyone out, I think the Titans sacking Burrow 9 times is worrisome to me but I have faith the the Bengals locking down Cupp, Beckham.

I think my intuition is Big Game Joe Burrow takes the Bengals over the hump.

I think 4.5 plus for Bengals is as good as it gets. Opened at 3.5. My guess is by game time it goes to 3 or 3.5.

I think the over is too high. Both teams will have jitters and not fly up and down scoring.

Hoping for a gojd entertaining game, and a non-boring half-time show with some sort of nipplegate to remember it.

What would you put the over under @ 45?

The Rams have a bunch of players who have been to Super Bowls before. As for Burrow he seems to always shine and play big in big games going back to his college days. I wonder if it start a lil slow at first but scoring picks up big in the 2nd half like many of Burrows game. Being basically a home game for the Rams, all the vets they brought in and everything surrounding the event like the halftime show and festivities it will be a big let down if Cin wins.

After such an amazing playoffs where every game was exciting from start to finish, I'ma be honest and say the SB was quite a letdown. No team really got into a rhythm and u can credit both defenses for that (especially the Rams) but otherwise, it was a bit of a yawner.

The Rams win felt "manufacturered". U got a West Coast halftime show production, celebrities coming from all over and it was a "home" game (again, somehow). And in the end, u got the inevitable controversial home call on 3rd and goal for defensive holding that gave the Rams 4 more chances to punch it in. I'm not saying it was clearly not a penalty but there were other calls they either missed or let go up until that drive. It was a clean game up until it mattered most and that doesn't sit well with me.

And no, I'm not a Bengals or Rams fan. In fact, I'm happy Stafford got his ring but that finish was suspect.

The clear face mask grab by Higgin TD washes out the def penalties at the end. Bengals had many chances on offense to get a field goal to wrap it up. But they went 0 for 5 on drives down the stretch. Burrow should have been heaving some bombs late. Roll out of the pocket and rip it.

I get how they could have missed that offensive PI call, it's not very obvious especially at game speed so I can't fault the refs for missing it. Almost seems like the defensive PI was a "make-up call". But hey, it is what it is and u right, the Bengals had opportunities they didn't capitalize on. All the credit to the Rams D.
