I don't know much about football, just quoting what the ticket broker said on the news last night.

Let's summarize and say tickets are expensive.

:D
Ticket brokers like to exaggerate. Most seats in the upper bowl or lower bowl endzone are going for $2500-$5000. The best seats in the house (club side between the 40s) are going for around $15,000.

Some guy will ask $50,000 and makes the news.

Question is will the Seahwaks get jobbed with the reffing like they did in 2006? With Manning at his brothers stadium trying to match him with a 2nd ring it will be intersting how this game is called.

Never doubted them for a second!
Neither did I! Well, maybe I wondered if Percy would break one or not. He did. The 'D' rocked to a man! The 'O' came through too, and now I plan on a rather delightful 'O' myself. Sooooo happy to see the Defense prevail, and take the MVP. Plus 'no-goat'award for Maxwell.
Fuk, this was more dominant than Puntmeister on a blind date--LOL.

Super Bowl? There was a Super Bowl??
I thought two teams needed to show up.... only one did, the other played the worst game of their lives.

Not to take anything away from Seattle, who played great and deserved the victory. But it would have been nice to enjoy a real game.

A tight see-saw battle would have been exciting, but on this day, I was happy to see a dominant thrashing by our neighbours to the South. My beers were doubly tasty with every Seahawks score. The I-N-T's were shooter-worthy. And the buffalo chicken wings went down really well with every kick-off, even though the Bills were no where near the stadium. HAWKS RULE!

It is really awesome to see the Seahawks getting support from all of BC. A friend of mine was telling me that in Victoria there is 500 season ticket holders for the Hawks, that's one hell of a commitment to go to home games. In Victoria the 12th man was flying on Govt. buildings which is cool and lots of Seahawk supporters showing there pride for the Hawks everywhere.

It was a lousy game to watch if you're a Denver fan, It was poetic justice for the Hawks who don't get much recognition being up in the Pacific Northwest. Things will be different now with the World Champions residing in Seattle. The Hawks were so much better than everyone on the National scene gave them credit for. All we heard about was Payton Manning and the Broncos records, congrats to the Broncos for there records. Congrats Seahawks for punishing the Broncos and being worthy World Champions

Damn that D is stacked!!
that Seahawk secondary is probably the best I've seen in a long, long time.
congrats to the team. in awe of Russell Wilson. very well-spoken
young man and I hope the success doesn't go to his head now that he's proven
the naysayers wrong. definitely role model material to young kids. way to go RW!

Think I heard on a radio show, that the Hawks have over 5000 season ticket holders from BC. I am on the waiting list, but I guess it will be even longer now.

Just like how an earth woman always wins Miss Universe. LOL

Lots of money lost this weekend apparently too.

Despite the hype it really wasn't a surprise that Seattle won. If you look at the numbers and their performance this past season, you can see - least points allowed, best turnover conversion, 3rd down conversions,....all indicate that Seattle was indeed the better team. Denver had only the reputation of being winners of past superbowls and having the best offense. But those past teams aren't the current team. Like the old saying goes - offense puts points on the scoreboard, but defense wins championships.
