There is new console from Nintendo called the Wii U, I'll probably pass on this unless there are some truly compelling games to be had. The controller looks very cool though.
Sony has a new portable gaming system called the PS VITA, again pass on this unless there are some compelling games for it.
For me though Microsoft ad the best announcement, Halo 4, the start of a new Halo trilogy with Master Chief, Oh and they are coming out with an "enhanced" version of Halo 1 for the Xbox 360.
