Suggestions for a dog groomer for poodles in their 20’s

Hello everyone!

Next week Caileb we’ll be Celebrating his 21st birthday, and he would like to be pretty!

I’m looking for someone, hopefully on a semi regular basis, who can scissor cut him, as well as his 17-year-old baby brother.

I do NOT want to take them to a grooming studio because at their age it is cruel to tie them up and forced them to stand for long periods of time, and it is also nerve-wracking for them to be in a strange place for prolonged periods of time since they are both blind and deaf.

I am hoping someone has a suggestion for someone who would be willing to come to my apartment and scissor cut them. I’m happy to have them washed and brushed before hand.

None of the mobile grooming studios accept dogs older than 12 years old.

I’m not looking for perfection. Just for improvement

If anyone here is skilled at that, or if anyone has any suggestions of someone who might Want to beautify two small, loving and amazing balls of fluff, please pass the information on. They might need a little bit of patience, they are incredibly loving, sweet, fun little spirits!

Wow! You must have some superfood secret for your dogs! 21 and 17 is amazing They must be well loved.

I checked with a friend of mine who works as a groomer and she recommended asking your vet for referrals to groomers who do home visits. I'm trying to convince her to see you as she's super kind, caring, and very experienced. She lives outside of Vancouver so isn't keen on driving in, also she mentioned that the more she travels the likelihood of her tools being damaged increases.

What would you expect to pay? As a home visit would cost her travel time and less availability for her to work at the studio.... Email me if you'd like.
