YMMV always. My experience was cut short, ending before it started. I was welcomed reasonably cordially. I'd had a particularly long week (worked overtime Saturday and Sunday) and just wanted some uncomplicated relaxation and release. As I am undressing she makes a comment on the size of my belly. Yes, there is a lot of me. I am fat. I walk half an hour a day or longer and have done so for about two years and I need to do more, like diet properly. Whatever, I know many people in Asia are not as body-conscious as we are and would not think of that as a sensitive subject so I let it pass even though it does not exactly make me feel sexy. Shirt off and now it's a poke at my man boobs. She even used the word 'boob'. At this point I have lost all desire to have anything to do with her, as I now feel any illusions I could possibly have had are pretty much destroyed. I know it's not her fault: she's a bit insensitive or culturally ignorant, and I'm oversensitive. But what's the point now? I am not paying her to *draw attention* to my weight or any of my other imperfections. Maybe she could criticize my taste in clothes while she's at it--frankly that would have been better. If I were a gigolo, I would not go around pointing at the hairs on a woman's upper lip, or how saggy her tits and belly were. Surely that's just common sense. Now here is where it gets worse. She calls up the man at Kangnam and hands me the phone, saying "Boss". I tell him what's happened and he bloody well LAUGHS ("It's NOT funny", I tell him), he recomposes himself and says he'll tell her to give me my money back (no need, I tell him, things had not gone that far yet).
What can I say? Nobody's perfect, stuff happens, but for God's sake, Boss, you need to brush up on your customer service skills.
I'm glad the rest of you had great experiences, I just wish I could have too. I probably needed it more, I wish I could have just "gotten over it" for the sake of it, but instead I found myself growing more and more frustrated with this city, which is easily the worst in the Western world for the hobby (I lived in Europe for several years). Between harassment by the police and danger from drug-addled SPs on the streets (I don't recommend this route to anyone), the equally dangerous scammers and dangers on Backpage, decrepit MPs where SPs backstab each other and are rude to the customers, there are very few genuinely good and consistent outlets to choose from, at least for more than simple HE. Sorry this is now turning into a general rant about Winnipeg's figuratively and literally chilly climate. I'll just be quiet now.
