Where do I find street hookers in Winnipeg during the winter? Usually I found them on Ellice and Sargent during the summers.

I don't think you do. I always thought they either moved to a warmer climate in the winter or they end up on LL/EB. I can't imagine SW being on the streets in minus 45 Celsius weather.

You might find them in the same spots but only the ones who REALLY need the cash.

Like Grishnak says, still there, but harder to find. It’s been a while but you could try the Selkirk or Jarvis Ave areas also. I think the internet and under cover po-po busts killed the street business.

My initiation to pay for play was on Albert. Picked her up, drove to the Stock Exchange Hotel/Teddy Bob’s, got a key from the bartender, off to the room we went. Circa 1990.
We all know the current hot spots that might remain in the city for trolling. But decent streets off the beaten path are around west broadway and just east of hsc around William, bannatyne, McDermott.

Oh man. Albert street back in the day was amazing. 30 to 35 years ago and I still remember it clearly. Everybody cruised through there and the ladies were amazing.

A word to the wise. Street workers are a good way to lose your car, which would be just the beginning of a world of problems.
