I don't think you do. I always thought they either moved to a warmer climate in the winter or they end up on LL/EB. I can't imagine SW being on the streets in minus 45 Celsius weather.
Like Grishnak says, still there, but harder to find. It’s been a while but you could try the Selkirk or Jarvis Ave areas also. I think the internet and under cover po-po busts killed the street business.

We all know the current hot spots that might remain in the city for trolling. But decent streets off the beaten path are around west broadway and just east of hsc around William, bannatyne, McDermott.
Oh man. Albert street back in the day was amazing. 30 to 35 years ago and I still remember it clearly. Everybody cruised through there and the ladies were amazing.
