It is inevitable that it will happen occasionally as we all go out and do things in public.
People just need to be smart about it.
And especially do not use a name in my opinion.
For me it was just timing.
At the grocery store I doubt she realized it was me she was in the lineup in front of her till she saw my face when i turned around. Or the assigned seating right beside someone i had formerly seen.
There is no way she or I could have known till we both sat down.
But they were both so cool it was no different than running into any other acquaintance.

Happens to me all the time with an sp I saw because she lives in my building. First time I saw her I couldn't stop laughing when she gave me the adress.

Saw a sp walking by me at the mall once, my jaws dropped cause i thought the pictures in the ads were fake. Tried to message her afterwards to book and got no reply that day
Second time was at a anime convention, everyone was taking pictures of her in her costume. I remember her from a bachelor party years ago when a buddy made a call for 3 girls and she was one of them.
Seen a couple walk by in buildings I've worked at. The look on some of their faces when they see me working. LOL

I wouldn't be sure if it's them being discreet or just not always remembering us.
It was a humbling experience when a known, low-volume SP didn't remember she saw me before when I was visiting her for the 3rd time. Cue in 'Mr Cellophane'.
Interestingly, she followed her admission with an immediate 'did you miss me?' :tape:
On the topic, the closest was meeting a young lady when I was leaving a building and she was buzzing in. Not a general public place but not a private one either.
I opted for discretion, but wondered if my poker face could have offended her. I could have nodded or something.

Soooooo strange today I ran into a sp i met back in january,she recognized me right away and gave a huge smile as she walked down the superstore ramp at 104 ave, then she realized my wife was 10 ft behind me and took the smile away and walked right by, the wife saw the smile and asked if I knew her, I said no....she was probably smiling cuz we are cute older couple,she agreed....soooo weird...I only saw her once and she knew me right away,I recognized her when I saw the smile
Recently while I was shopping in a small butcher shop, in a very small town, I was approached by a man who was accompanied by his wife. He complemented my eyes, explaining how unique they are. Then pointing in my direction waving his finger in a sense of recognition. By now his wife was directly beside him, as he started his line of questioning. He could not place me, but he was certain we were acquainted. He was relentless! I was embarrassed, his wife looked displeased, and he rambled on about it the whole time I was there.
My favorite was, years ago, a very young man bumped into me on the seawall. He and his friends were admiring my dogs. At which point he tells me I look familiar. I shrug it off, and he says it again. Surrounded by his group of young friends, I lean toward him and remark that it happens to me all the time, I do fetish BBW porn, that's probably where he has seen me before. Then continuing on my walk.

I agree with you. Nothing wrong with thatI smile at strangers all the time.

)BaconNeggs - I seem to have started smiling at ladies in general again and i get them back ....many things are coming back to make me as I was in my youth ....the smile I got from the SP was quite wide and obvious...not something I get from strangers....
but I love it that I feel like smiling again and it is obvious from other reactions I have received over the last month it is well received.....

I was sitting in a White Spot a few years back, having breakfast with my SO. There were two women sitting directly behind us, & I was ALMOST POSITIVE I knew one of them quite well! NK, you remember how this story ends, right?? :ROFL:
Glad to hear that.
I am generally a happy person so I smile at men, women, children, the parking meter people, cashiers and basically all people.
Its free and its easy to do...so why not
