here's some things to know:
getting faxes you don't want? if you can get the fax number from *69 then do a *57 and then call 1-866-617-6355 and enter the info requested (your number and the number that is calling you). Telus will then send them a fax telling them to cease and desist.
if you try *69 and it doesn't give you the number, then *57 will not work either. if you have anyway at all of getting the fax number, you can call: 1-800-567-0000 and request that they contact the sender -- they will and request the cease and desist.
as well, the 1-800-567-0000 allows you to request that your name and number be removed from the super pages database and will not be available to telemarketers including telus themselves.
it can take up to 30 days to get off the list but it may be worth it.
