Don't recall which Wpg newspaper but just a few days ago I read about an Alberta politician who called up a Minneapolis BP duo while he was down there and ended up netted.

I don't know if the US LE has a different view and approach to this business but I haven't heard much in the way of similar activity up here so far ... though many things down there do have a way of working their way up north. For example the CL fuss was mainly pushed by the US.

The law is different in the USA, stricter (as in really illegal) and the Americans practice their usual Puritanical tight-ass, take-no-prisoners approach to immoral things. Not so in Canada. Poor prick, another pooner with a bad BP experience

In Canada = Legal (with few restrictions)
In US = Illegal (except for in some areas in Nevada).

As simple as that.

While in Canada, stick to online ads and forums.
While in US, get some lube and tissue unless you are in a licensed brothel in Nevada. Technically, prostitution outside of such brothels is illegal, as well as in Vegas, though I think cops look the other way in most cases.

Funny cooincidence about Vegas ... I was just down there very recently on biz and having a solitary nightcap at the hotel lounge before retiring for the night and a young & gorgeous slides over and asks if I'm alone in town. Suddenly I had a battle on my shoulders, before the dust settled and I warily decided to fake out and say "No, not this time unfortunately", and then called it a night.

Could have been a setup, likely not, but I still smile thinking about it.

Poor guy. Weird how this works. Totally legal up here but the expectation is that he should resign his seat. Totally illegal in the USA, but the expectation is he should run for the Senate.

I think you made the right choice there. I've heard of a lot of ladies in Vegas that cruise the casinos late at night to pick up guys. This usually leads to a big upsell once back in the room or else being ripped off. I met a guy down there a few years ago, went out to a Gentlemans Club that night, had a good time, he had a lot to drink, we got back to the Hotel and went to our separate rooms (had to be around 3am) the next morning I run into him and he tells me he went out after we got back, met a lady and she stolen his Credit Card & Bank Card (remember he had been drinking). He was in a big panic trying to cancel his cards. So stay away.

I spent all of June in the US. Most of the sp's I met where by referral. I also believe you have to do your home work before leaving home.
