It is not uncommon to see comments in this forum about how/why we need to treat the sex industry like any other business and not view participants negatively, etc. In that context, I recently met a wonderful SP who made a point of telling me how she enjoyed her work, did not have any regrets about what she did and did not feel ashamed of her business (I did not raise this topic at all and don't think I gave off a "disapproval vibe"...it was like she felt the need to get that out of the way - she then proceeded to prove how good she was and provided me with a most enjoyable experience). I have since learned that she is the great grand daughter of a guy who was a very good friend of our family when I was growing up (and a good friend of my grandfather but she would not know any of this info...I was just another anonymous john). If she was in any other business, the family connection thing would be a great conversation starter. I'm sure most people are interested to hear stories someone could tell about their grandparents (and even more-so, great grandparents) and it would be fun to share that information. What about in this business....should I tell her what I know? She came across as a really sweet girl and our time together was memorable. As background information...I have been in this game for many years and have had many experiences. Despite most experiences being good, many are forgettable (i.e. "nothing special" whereas this one was much above average). I am approaching senior citizen age and would guess this lady is in her early 30's. I know I could blend this information into a natural conversation with her if I chose to.....or should I just keep it my little secret?
