Staying safe with a SP?

Hi, I'm wondering how best to protect myself when visiting with a SP. I know lots of SPs are safety conscious but let's face it, there are heightened risks when you're in sexual contact with many different people.

I would like to visit a SP. I'd do everything with a condom even if she doesn't require it (heck, especially if she doesn't require it). I would like to do DATY and DFK though.

How can I minimize my risks, and how great ARE the risks? (most worried about diseases that are not curable like AIDS, herpes, hepatits, etc)

While you're at it, avoid touching of any kind!

Well..with mouth to mouth contact Herpes (cold sores) can be transmitted. Or you could catch a cold or flu.

I've heard DATY is relatively low risk, but of course, low risk doesn't mean NO risk.

BBBJ's are risky enough that I would suggest not participating in them, unless of course, you and the person you are with can prove that you are both STD free (show each other the form you can get from the doctor)

But I mean, if you're not even going to kiss the girl's mouth, I think it would be pretty akward..

I guess it's all about what sort of risks you're willing to take.

You can get Herpes, Syphillis and Chlamydia from DATY. It is not low risk at all. BBBJs can get you the same stuff too, but the risk of it is greater. Many men never show symptoms, so a lot of guys are doing this stuff thinking they are disease free and hence never bother to get themselves tested - often they find out when their SO's contract it (and women show symptoms like 10 times more than men).

As for DFK, she could have Herpes or Chlamydia. Herpes would be on her lips, Chlamydia might live in the back of the mouth near the throat.

Have fun with your rubber on! You're a wise man to be safe. Don't let the idiots goad you into thinking you're a wuss or paranoid.

It's very true.

If you think you may have contracted HIV, you need to go for a check up a few times, because it might not show up right away.

If you are going to play your are going to get burned.

Sooner or later. First, there is a lot of BS that STD's are only transmitted having sex. Actually it is the liquids containing the STD's in the sexual body fluids that are transmitted. The little germies just don't hop out and in when you do it. So get those liquids from one body into another and there you have it, disease transmitted. Doesn't matter how you did it.

Question is, does it have to get into the blood stream or can swallowing or putting your fingers in your mouth, near your nose etc do the trick. In World War II, the one group was known to give diseases to prisoners by rubbing a feather under their noses with the diseases on them. So lets get the transmission cycle down pat. It is just not sexy ways that cause transmission, just move the body fluids from source to victim.

If you search around on the net, you will find evidence of disease being transmitted by wet towels and face cloths. Trichonomasis can be easily transmitted by such, but I had a doctor tell me you could only get it if you really got your tool into a woman. BS, oral will transmit it as well any moisture into the wrong place. So let Peter dangle when you wash him afterwards so as not to force water into his little tube.

There is a more insidious transmission route. When you have sex and rub your pubic hair against her body fluids, those little bugs(bacteria) get on your pubic hairs. Put your underwear back on and now you rub the bugs off on the underwear, and guess what the underwears are rubbing on as you walk along. Bingo, transmission, no bareskin, but you got sick anyway. This route bypasses condoms very effectively. Not good for transmitting many diseases but works well on others. Want to test it out? Take a shower afterwards to prevent it.

Doing digits? Be careful about putting them near your nose, or mouth. Some girls will give you Purine hand wash for before and after.

Yes condoms prevent infections very well and must be used. Cleanliness and care will complete the cycle. You can't relax in these areas.

Now that you have read all this, maybe you want to be extra careful.

After leaving a lady, within a few days, or maybe even hours, do you feel some discomfort. Don't mess with it, get to a doctor quickly, or the STD clinic listed in your phone book, confidential, and just confess your sins. Meanwhile, don't hug, kiss or shake hands with anyone. Wash your underwear on the sani cycle.
This sounds more like, "How To Prevent The Flu."

Have a look at the health information forum on PERB.

I should change this statement, someone is going to get burn.

In my case I did not catch anything by playing safe but cause my regular sp to get pregnant.

I always wear condom and never believe that a condom can break so easily. Within the last 4 months ,I broke my condom twice. During the first time,I did not aware of the situaton. Couple of weeks ago, I discovered my condom broke after ejectculation and told my regular about the situation .Then immediately she pinned point to me that I was the one who caused her pregnant two months ago!

She said she also plays safe by ensuring every client of her wear their condom properly. So far none of them had ever broken their condom except me.So if I broke one now ,every likely I was the one who broke the other condom to cause her pregnant. According to the timing ,I also believed that I was the one who caused her pregnancy!:(

Thank goodness she discovered within two weeks when her period did not arrive. If it was two or three months later ,even after an abortion ,she won't be able to work for at least three to four months!

So if you are in this game or business, there is no such thing as a "sure or safe"play!
