Wow some gutsy picks!

Only ones I would change out of your lineup is Detroit in seven and Washington in six.

Parity in the league will probably bring some surprising playoff games.

Canucks beat the Blackhawks in 6. Chicago lacks the depth of last season, so that will make the difference

Sharks Beat Kings in 6. With Anze Kopitar and Justin Williams out, the Kings lack scoring depth. San Jose is firing on all cylinders at the right time, too.

Coyotes beat the Red Wings in 7. Two evenly matched teams but i think Bryzgalov is the difference.

Predators over the Ducks in 7. This is really a pick 'em but again the difference is Pekka Rinne although Jonas Hiller should turn in a strong performance too.

In the East

Capitals over the Rangers in 6. The Caps have changed themselves for the better. Much more defensively sound and built to succeed in one goal games. Lundqvist will make the series interesting.

Sabres over the Flyers in 7. The Sabres are going up and the Flyers are going down. I also believeRyan Miller will step hisgame up. If he does, watch out for the Sabres in the East.

Canadiens beat the Bruins in 6. Boston is a tough team but I think they will take too many penalties and Montreal's power play will burn them. Price will be stellar and I think Thomas will be just average

Lightning defeat Penguins in 7. Another series that could be a pick 'em but Tampa's scorers are coming to life at the right time. Will overwhelm the Pens.

Thought I would join the fray.

Canucks in 5 over Chicago.
SJ in 5 over LA
Phoenix over Detroit in 7, but it depends on Zetterberg
Anaheim over Nashville in 7

Over in the East

Washington in 6 over NYR.
Buffalo over Philly in 6.
Montreal over Boston in 7. Honestly, I think it's just wishful thinking.
Tampa over Pitts in 6. If Crosby plays, then Pitt in 7.

As far as the finals are concerned, I see the Canucks and Buffalo. Franchise brothers.

One last thing, I am not giving up my day job.

game 1

Canucks win tonight against Chicago - 2 - 0 all scoring in the first
That 1st period was awesome, the Canucks dominated the hawks; edler was hitting anything that moved,Higgins plastered Hjalmerson, Salo nailed a chicago winger, it was physical punishment of the defending cup champs!
I thought Lu play with confidence throughout, he got lucky with a few posts, but then sammuelsson hit 2 post also
Game 2 is going to be a bit tighter, I think we'll see chigago step up their game

Other results: Detroit beat the Coyotes, Washington edged the Rangers, TBay shutout the Pens,

It's looking pretty good for the Canucks to take the black Hawks, possibly sweep them
LA has surprised SJ so far
Detroit is dominating the Coyotes
Hashville leads Analheim
Montreal Shocking the Bruins,
Phily tied with Buff
Caps lead NYR
PITT & TBay tied

At the start of playoffs I predicted Vancouver vs Boston in the final.
Things were not looking good for me when the Bruins fell behind 2 - 0.
And then the Hawks stormed back on the Canucks.
But now it's anyone's guess again!

Holy F***, that was the best 1st round platoff series EVER!

Only Habs vs. Bruins and TBay vs. Pens , both game 7s, to go til the 1st round is over

Vancouver 7 games, Detroit 4 games, SJ 6games, Nashville 6 games, Wash 5 games, Philly 7 games, are all through
