Ok, I feel the need to speak up. I just saw a post about CLM/Stephanie and I cannot believe my eyes. I can't begin to count all the good that she has done for this industry and all the SPs who have benefited from her directly. I am not going to go as far as to say she has revolutionized the business but it is darn close. Why is it that it is CLM that gets picked on so much? Is it because the men can't stand a woman that speaks her mind? Just look at how everyone is picking on Sarah Palin. It seems like the world cannot handle a beautiful strong independent woman. Are the fellow SPs jealous of her success? From day one, CLM has been nothing but generous in reaching out to other SPs and that is the thanks she gets? No offense Tiffany but the airing of dirty laundry in public is more of a reflection of the person airing it than it is on CLM. I know first hand what a good friend Steph was and how she bent over backwards to make you happy and in return all she got is a stab in the back for some minor miscommunication. You showed some of your true colors by being so quick to turn on a good friend. So she used some words from other escort websites. Big deal. It happens all the time on the internet. You are paying for her service, not her writing skills for goodness sakes. When I look at sheeztheone.com I don't see airbrushed pictures like some other advertisers here. What you see is what you get. Is that not good enough for you? All you guys do is yap on and on about CLM this, CLM that. When does Stephanie ever get a break? It's a good thing she held her head high and left, along with her Perb discount. I have a feeling she has more VIP and high end clients than her time allows and she's not missing this place one bit.

Have you ever thought for a minute about all the struggles she had to endure and despite them, she has risen like a phoenix to be an exceptional SP and a role model for fellow SPs? The take and take mentality prevalent in today's society is even more pronounced on Perb. Those who picked on her should be ashamed of themselves. When Steph was around, people talked about the issues that are important. Now all I seem to see is childish bickering. C'mon people. it doesn't take a genius to see that CLM is a victim of back door conspiracies to take away from her business. This is the exact same thing that happened to me when I was new. Other SPs who have been in the business much longer than I have did not experience the same success so they banded together to tarnish my good name. I grew sick of the constant battles so I changed my business model and started to be more selective with my clientele. I now travel around the globe via first class or private jet and my clients now consist mainly of Fortune 500 execs and influential dignitaries. I have never looked back and I am sure Stephanie will be doing the same in due course.

This post is not really about CLM. She did not ask me to post here and since she no longer reads this board, she can't be bothered one way or the other. This post is about being kind and civil to one another. I can no longer stand idle as I see people jumping on the bandwagon to ruin Stephanie's reputation and while others watch callously. This could have happened to any SP and those who feel comfortable in their cliques shouldn't feel so secure. Perb is no place for advanced academic discussions but I will reference the famous Stanley Milgram experiments where participants, when directed by a so called authority agreed to perform acts which were against their ethics simply because they were told to. Can't you all see the exact same thing is happening here?

I'm not "highclasshottie"
highclasshottie/high-end hottie

Just so there is no confusion: high-end hottie (me) is not "highclasshottie".
Hmmm . . . I think I will try to change my name now.

She brought on all the bickering and backstabbing herself so dont try to make her out to be an angel. Nobody here is buying into that BS.
She is only misunderstood because she is living in her own little fantasy world.

Hey! Just what everyone was looking for: a lecture.

We've all had struggles. Welcome to the club, Stephanie.
Really subtle advertising by dropping the .com in the middle of the post! Nicely done!
I hope the mods don't notice you attempting to advertise for free!

Being new, I think I missed most of your drama, but I got the impression that a lot of people thought you were crazy. Maybe I am thinking of someone else.

That isn't very courteous, Jodie. If she deserves that label, then you deserve it as well and all the SP women who overkills the word "I" in their profiles.

I disagree. There's a difference between describing yourself in a section of your webpage where you are expected to describe yourself and dredging up past drama that no one is interested in with the purpose of drawing attention to yourself and fluffing up one's ego. CLM is being an attention whore has consistently acted as one in the past.

A single autobiographical piece of writing is not an expression of narcissismn. A constant need to publicly reflect on one's accomplishments, feelings and appearances -- that is narcissism.

P.S. "Anonymous Courtesan," why not have the integrity to present your opinions under your regular identity? I promise I don't bite... ;)

Not that there is anything wrong with the occasional bite. :)

I expect the next thing Anonymous Courtesan will say is the constant self-promotion by many of the members with red names is an example of narcissism.

I think that anyone who promotes positive change and growth in this industry is someone who deserves respect and in this case recognition and a parade. I also think that every person needs somebody to stand up for them at some point in their life. Sometimes it is what makes the difference.
