I agree with you, however I know a couple of SP's that would not book with me if I used a text app. If you really want to be safe, just pick up a cheap pay as you go cell phone and only use it when booking.

Thanks for the warning bobalou. I would have never texted her given all the red flags. However, I'm not an expert in technology (and I'm probably being naive here) but I wonder how a person can contact your family and friends with only your phone number (I'm assuming you didn't give her your real name!). But as I say, I'm no expert in technology.

Also, next time try to be more succinct. He/she doesn't need to know absolutely anything about you. A simple "Go ahead!" would suffice for what you want to convey without giving any other information or looking like you trying too hard.
