I'm not sure if this is the correct section to post this in, but oh well! I'm hopping mad, spitting nails, and pretty much ready to make like Wayne Brady.
Last week my cellphone account was locked out three times due to "suspicious activity" (read: someone was trying to get into my online mobility account). Now, due to the fact that I'm obviously not worth the Fraud Management Department's time (thank you, Telus, much appreciated, enjoy your CRTC complaint) I have had to spend the weekend switching carriers, changing phone numbers, passwords, emails, account logins... basically recreating my online presence to ensure the continued privacy and security of my clients as well as that of myself.
How do I know it was another SP? One of my regular clients called "me" on Thursday, while my phone was being uncharacteristically quiet, set up a time with the lady who answered, and was given the intersection near where I live (easily found on most of my ads) but not my actual address (which I usually give to clients when we arrange a time, if we are to meet within the next couple hours). Upon arriving at the designated place, at the designated time and calling to get the buzzer, the poor man was left out in the rain because "Cherry" was no longer answering calls.
So basically, my account was violated, my phone number was forwarded to hers, and clients were being directed to my area, and then abandoned. Please, if it seems that I have done anything similar to this over the past couple weeks contact me (if you feel comfortable) I would like to know how many other men have been left out in the rain by the imitation "Cherry", and to apologize if it seems that I was being a flake. Please be assured that I am taking every possible step and precaution to ensure that something like this never happens again.
Thank you, any suggestions for mitigating any possible fall-out and preventing the re-occurrence of this situation would be mightily appreciated.

Enough with the girl on girl attacks, ladies!
There are well enough men in this hobby that we don't need to resort to petty cat-shit and client usurping.
If you put as half much time and energy into advertising, public relations, client interactions and so on, well...
You would have neither the necessity, nor the desire to sit there on Craigslist fire-flagging anything that moves, or, as in what has just happened to me,
committing fraud and stealing the identity of your peers.
