I received two emails from what appears to be a very bitter man. The email contents were nothing to be desired for with a deep hatred directed at SPs.

With the recent rumours and accusations involving me, I'm wondering:

Thanks to you ladies for posting about this fellow and his messages. This is the most frightening aspect of the work SPs do and it's great that you talk to each other about this type of thing and supply each other with intelligence about situations. It's good too, IMHO, that you post about it here for PERBites. Thank you.

Because it's possible the individual behind the emails is reading this board I'd like to ask him to take action on his own behalf. You should know Sir that there are hundreds of men and women dealing with chronic illness right this minute and they are ready to help you. It sounds like you're dealing with a significant level of pain in many areas of your life. You are feeling desparate and are possibly a danger to yourself or others. You need to take action and learn to manage all aspects of your illness. You have the power within to do this. No matter how angry you are, no matter how hopeless you feel, there is a place where you can learn to do this in a supportive atmosphere where fellow sufferers meet together for just this purpose. It's called the Chronic Disease Self Management Program (CDSMP). At the very least you need to go to a mental health facility and seek help. Your situation is serious and you must take action - NOW.

I know how terrible you feel but I can attest from personal experience that this stuff really works. I now have a life again (and I really enjoy sex once more!). Please make the effort. The dark feelings you're experiencing are not reality. You have the power to take control and find your humanity again. Do not continue to struggle alone. GET HELP NOW! Please!

I was wondering if someone else had received them too. I feel so sad this guy is so ill. I was concerned enough to call the RCMP to ask what I should do. Basically, though he was voicing his sick fantasies, but there wasn't any personal threats, so they just wanted me to keep an eye open for further emails.

I've received another 2 emails from him, the same one copied and sent the following day. This 2nd letter didn't feel that threatening, so I haven't called them again.

I think this poor man is just so sick physically too, he is just venting his anger and hate for his life.. it's actually quite tragic.

I was actually saddened by the fact that they didn't take any action when you reported the first incident, Ms. Leone. But since they did say to let them know about any further emails, I think it would be best if you take that at face value and contact them ASAP that you have indeed received more emails from this individual. And any other ladies that are receiving them should report them as well. In fact, if you already have a contact name that you've reported this to, Ms. Leone, perhaps you can share it with any other ladies who have received them so they can contact the same officer and maybe a file can be started for this specific case. Then maybe the authorities will take this individual and this harassment seriously. Whatever he's going through, he has no right to inflict this hateful nonsense on anyone.

You have no idea how many ladies who I have spoken to claim nothing but bad news comes from these boards. Where are you when other forms of cyber acceptable hate are promoted here? Many of you probably have no idea how much of it really goes on and how many innocent people get hurt. You have no fuckin idea otherwise you would never support these boards.
