I was reading a thread in the 411 section about how there is little selection in the Surrey, langley area. Considering that this area has probably close to 750,000 people, it surprises me that sp's dont regularly set up in the area for at least a few days a week or even month. I know via is out here regularly. I just think it is a large under served market, with lots of potential.

People who can afford to see SPs would tend to live closer towards Downtown. Not that there aren't any in Surrey and Langley, but you can probably find a correlation. That's why you don't see many $300+/hr SPs in that area.

And I am not sure if this is correct but I have talked to some sp's working from Surrey they they mostly only get clients from Surrey. Clients from Richmond, Burnaby, Vancouver etc. don't like to travel to Surrey but the Surrey clients will travel to those areas. Not being stereotypical of Surrey, but it is the way it is. We all determine where to work that gives us the best access for our clients. That's one reason my new second incall will be in Burquitlam right at a skytrain station for easier access than my Richmond incall for transit users.

I worked in Surrey for a few years, and it was way busier than working in Vancouver. If somebody wants to see you, coming in from Vancouver is not going to hold them back. However, people that live in Langley, Surrey, White Rock etc. don't really like to go over the bridge. Surrey also gets more of the Seattle demographic who are just coming up to have fun.

I'm in downtown for personal reasons, and have a spectacular luxury suite here on the water. But if I was simply looking to make as much as possible, I would definitely head back to Surrey. You can't get through a liaison without your voice mail filling up (back when they only held 10 messages)

In Vancouver, I am as busy as I want to be, while still allowing myself the luxury of being selective of whom I see. In Surrey, it was insane. It was exhausting just having to respond to the deluge of interested suitors.

Hmmm..... I get the feeling that it might have as much to do with your popularity than the cities themselves!

I find that i always have to take so much time to find parking in downtown, that's the only problem there. Daytime I gotta pay for parking if there is any! During the nights I always have to park 2 blocks away almost everytime!

Surrey depend where you are always seems shady. I once almost got robbed by a native couple(not trying to racist here) right after I saw a SP during the daytime! Luckily a older gentlemen called them out and I quickly jumped in my car and locked my doors as they were distracted. -_-

I feel like richmond of burnaby would always be the best.

Omg when??
They are just finishing construction. Should get possession mid July or early August. Have to furnish it and get it stocked and ready so by end of August. Brand new building so I am guessing everyone will be trying to move in at the same time lol.

Costly!!

I know that your talking about Vancouver or Surrey, but I find travelling out of Province very expensive. I have a incall space for my dates in Winnipeg and my home where I live, where I am me (Aunt Jemima style). Having to cover all these expenses by the end of the month plus airplane ticket and hotel...wow it's a bit pricey. I want to be in the plus not in the negative. Also when you travel to a new city doesn't mean I'm guarantee to make. So I don't know...maybe if I was twenty years old and still live at home, I would consider it. But right now in my life its a bit much.

I still would love to visit BC though but not sure where to go? Might be too confusing!!

The 6 to the.. Other 6
Stay downtown and pick a 4 star hotel with hotels.ca.. I usually do that and get good deals for under $200.
I've stayed at fairmont in Calgary downtown for $160/night before..

I am pretty shrewed and cheap when it comes to my own travelling expenses; even if work offers business classes sometimes I'd opt for economy and just have the expenses be higher for food or entertainment (international you always need business.. I am a bigger dude and need my space so I can sleep. Haha).

I've stayed at the W in Montreal for less than $200 a night as well...
Flights i tend to use kayak or hopper.. Just hoping to benefit any SP's.. Or they can PM me :)

This is true but you can't really get away with charging those courtesan prices in Surrey, the most you can get away with charging is maybe 280 and that's if you're in a nice area like Langley. If you're in Surrey central or guildford/whalley/newton the prices are just lower, so you're going to have to see more clients (if you're looking to make tons of money in a short amount of time). Also in Surrey most guys who actually poon here are looking for a bargain, even if they are visiting from Vancouver. I've seen poor souls drive all the way from North Van to get a 15 minute quicky for $100 lmao.

If you decide to travel, please contact me! I have lived within 50 miles of downtown my entire life. For work or pleasure, I know where to go!

Could be because maybe it's easier to get from North Van to Surrey than it is to get to downtown Vancouver?

I spent a month living in Surrey and my own feeling was that it's whole "bad rep" is a little overblown. Yes, I know there are gangsters there & I could see the ink when I went to the gym. But overall the town seemed like a typical suburb. There seemed to be a lot of families living there so it's likely the males living there don't have the money for pooning. Two kids, two cars, one mortgage doesn't leave much left over for average working people.
I could argue the same for vancouverites, they are so strapped with high mortgages and rents they can't afford to poon. I think it is not worth trying to categorize the populations, i think we have to assume they are the same.

I don't know what the hassles are with setting up an incall in surrey, but considering the populations of Surrey, north delta, white rock and langley are over 810,000 people, which is larger than Winnipeg (i googled it) i just think there is lots of opportunity.

I have to admit the reason i started this thread is cause i live in Langley and work in north delta, and i hate going downtown.

I was thinking that rental space would be somewhat cheaper, better parking and less traffic congestion out in Surrey, New West and Coquitlam compared to the Vancouver downtown core. If so that would be an incentive for ladies to set up shop in those areas. I don't know just throwing some ideas out there.

You'd save what? 1.0-1.5k in rent by being out there? Problem is unless you have a loyal and established following, you're likely better off paying premium on rent and getting a bigger pool of paying clients (for $300+/hr ladies).

An interesting point; there are quite a few very popular ladies who hypothetically if they did move to Burnaby or New West their loyal fan base would still see them there plus she would have additional new clients from the Tri-cities, New West and Surrey area. So there's that to consider. I don't know how saturated the market is downtown for providers, maybe some of the ladies on this forum can give us an idea.
