Part of the reason I don not think they will win the Super Bowl and maybe not even their division. Matchups have greater emphasis in Football than most sports which is why I do not think the Broncos will win the Super Bowl if they make it that far because the defenses of the 49ers, Saints and Seahawks will eat them alive. We saw what an above average defense like the Colts can do to them, so against them, they are virtually hopeless. The only AFC team I think that can beat any of those teams are the Colts (as they have already done it against two of them) but they may not be able to beat teams like the Bengals or the Chiefs or even the Chargers. The NFC is by far the superior Conference and the Super Bowl champ will most likely come from there.
