OK, I often sift through Perb at work - hey, why not, I'm the boss...

I find myself, or rather catch myself, chuckling at some of the spelling mistakes ladies (or their handlers) make in their ads. I'm sure there are many threads on this here and a) FYI I'm not the best speller, b) I don't look at the lounge often, and c) hey, we're not selling copy writing or editing services here, BUT I simply had to laugh out loud at this one:

"Sexy 19 year old Collage student"

I like collage too. The layering, colour and interesting juxtapositions one can create or see in these compositions is almost infinite. But seriously, will she get far in college? I'm not so sure...

Anybody remember Norm Crosby? (He knew he was funny when he got his first "standing ovulation") His deft manipulation of the language was hilarious to me, sadly now many of his malapropisms are standard usage.

I always thought there was some kind of algorithm on ers that bleeped out the words, but why?

Yeah you see that a lot now. Since the new rules for advertising. Its amazing how many of the ladies are too lazy to adapt.

Damn! For a second there I thought you had your first grammatically correct sentence with proper usage. But I was wrong. The spelling is fine though!

my biggest "shake my head" spelling errors are the way voluptuous gets absolutely BUTCHERED! And brunette....burnett etc, mullato...

a lot of these girls/women are not native English speakers, probably can't spell and didn't do well in school and dropped out...
