Speeakout Phone Issue

I have a very old Nokia Speakout pooning phone.

Sometimes I get a text message that just says 3999, and when I select it, it says the message cannot be displayed.

Obviousy it is an image that has been sent, but the worst part is there are no details indicating who sent it.
Anyone know if there's a way to find out who the sender is?

There are some standard "short codes", which you can look up at https://www.txt.ca/en/current-short-code-programs/

3999 is not listed, though. My guess, it is a temporary code from the mobile provider. You can try texting back INFO or HELP - that's an automated feature for listed short codes, but may not work as this one is not standard.

Indeed, it could be an image (or any kind of MMS). Speakout does not let you see them unless you add a data plan, which is like $10/month for 100MB. However, if you have no monthly plan at the moment, I advice not to add the data thing, because you won't be able to switch back to the "no plan" option.

Maybe you see different kinds of SP's than me, but it's unlikely the ones I see would be sending dick picks.
