I used to date a guy who almost went out of his way to not shower, etc. for sex. Why do guys do this? Is it some kind of rebellion or they just think they are above being considerate or what? Its just something I wonder about.

But overall I think some guys are just lazy and some are like heck with it. So yeah.
Read up on Pheromones. Some people believe (not me) that there is a natural opposite sex attracting scent given out from one's sweat. Benito Mussolini the Italian Dictator was rumoured to bath infrequently and was a very smelly person. He also had numerous lovers outside of his marriage. Sort of like getting into bed with someone smelling like gorganzola cheese don't you think?

This is so true! Don't worry, this guy is ancient history in my life. But I suppose the real question is why I put up with it for as long as I did. I actually was stupid enough to think it was just his style and if I cared I would accept it, but then of course when he connected with another girl, he was all of a sudden impeccably groomed. So that's when I started thinking his lack of hygiene for me wasn't just carelessness. He knew better all along.
