I'm noticing several key words in the posts here on Perb are highlighted in blue. Hover over them and they are links to other sites. Is anyone else noticing this? Is it a way for sites like Perb to generate ad revenue? Or something more mysterious?

Edit: The word 'registered' as part of the Registered User title that's under my name right there is in blue and underlined, and linked to a 'Shop Rewards' website.

Is anyone else seeing this or do I have a problem?

Edit again, 10 seconds later... It's black again, but the word "Shop" in the body of text above is in blue, linking to a coupon site. Each time I hit refresh a different word in my paragraph gets linked to some spam site. Uh oh.

Hmmm, kinda creepy...the only words I see in blue are the hyperlinks...maybe you've been hacked?

I've since realized I'm not supposed to be posting anything but spam links in here so, sorry mods. But I'll take the chance to thank those who replied. Thanks!

It took me a while to figure out what words to use for a google search because I couldn't explain it - as you can tell by my long winded post above... But I finally got it and easily deleted it from the toolbar > extensions folder.

From the site 'Botcrawl'... Text Enhance (Text-Enhance) is a form of bundled flash adware (categorized as a browser hijacker) that attaches to internet browsers as an extension and cookie without user consent. The primary website for Text Enhance does not allow users to download their extension, nor can their extension be found on Google Chrome’s extension database, nor any other browser’s add on database for that matter. In other words, Text Enhance is not a realistic in text advertising service.

I never download music, movies, or software... not that I'm against it or anything - just too lazy. But just a couple days ago I downloaded "Business Card Composer 5", you know, because I need some business cards and didn't realize spending 4 hours trying to figure out how bit torrents work and then getting a virus would be way harder than just going to Staples and getting 100 made for $12 would be.
