If only `cause it always gets such a rise out of Victoria-Lee.
The spaceghost is fond of saying that any woman should
always charge what she believes she can make.
Conversely, the pooner should only pay what he believes he can (and should only patronize those providers who provide great service).
This board provides intel on a huge variety of woman with an equally wide variety of prices. We have our 1 & 2 green specialists who keep us up on that market niche... and several perberts who love the $$$ girls.
Every once in a while there are some ladies who establish a market presence based on solid service. Due to their popularity, they decide to raise their prices. Be it because they believe they can earn more for the same effort or to mute demand because they cannot handle the volume and demand on their time.
Recently we have seen Felicia go from $200 to $250 and we have seen Brooke (Marilyn Starr) go from $300 to $500.
Good for them.
No one likes rising prices... and the idea of `boycotting` is enticing because it allows one to vent. But let`s face it... these actions won`t really work for the pooner community.
Why?
In another thread, titled
Kruzerho Granny, The Post-Mortem Review you will read about a pooner who shows up to see an sp and, when he lays eyes on her, he provides this wonderful description:
"I walked into her apartment at the appointed time, and I could have sworn that I was walking into a catacomb, Munster-style. Geezus... the woman could have been holding a machete and told him she was going to cut it off when he was done and he still would have porked her. At what point does someone say NO THANKS?????
And that`s the point. For a large number of pooners, money is not the issue. They want sex. They want sex now and they will have that sex regardless of the... ummm... circumstances of the pending experience.
And some perberts want sex with a particular woman and they will pay the asking rate for that sex.
Whining and calling for boycotts won`t change this. The problem is that you are probably shopping in a store that is too `high-end` for you. Get off Robson Street and into Sears.
Now... there is a flip side to this ladies!!!
As many of you have lamented on the backchannels - and on the ladies board... we have entered a `slow` business period.
This, my fellow perberts, is cause for considerable concern amongst many of the women.
Some of the ladies have responded... by having `specials` and otherwise lowering their prices.
And what have we seen? Why it is the companion to the LAG rant... some of the women are freaking out and trying to bully and intimidate those offering the `specials`.
Bottom line is that the market operates as a two way street.
To the people like LAG... the best advice is: Don`t shop for clothes at `Harry Rosen` if all you can realistically afford is `Moores`. Because you are never going to get everyone to boycott `Harry Rosen` with the hope that they will reduce their prices to the level you want.
And to the ladies... if the frequency of business isn`t there, then it could well be that the price point for the current state of the market is too high.
Don`t bitch if you`re willing to `hold the line` and go without business but others are not. If someone can`t afford a product, he won`t magically generate the money just because you keep the price high.
