SP "vacations"

Hello,
I haven't seen some ads I've been looking out for recently, so I've been wondering how people know if an SP is on break/vacation. Generally, I imagine you can tell an SP is on her monthly break when the posts on ers stop around the same time of the each month consistently.
As for vacations, I've seen some posts about others knowing that an SP is on currently on a leave/vacation and wondering how they know this. Does it come up during small talk? Do they call and mamasan says they're on vacation? The last thing I need is to call and next thing I know some LE picks up. :doh:

The chance that you get a LE is pretty rare. As a precaution you could go with someone who is well reviewed here.

As for your question about vacation, well all the above; plus sometime when a sp moves to another shop the mama san may tell you that the sp is on vacation and suggest you try one of her other girls.
