You're right. I am missing the point. I read Daisy's post again and I still don't get the point.

To me, I don't care about the reasons that SPs retire. It is their prerrogative. If they retire, fine... good luck in whatever they do next. If they unretire, great. Whatever SPs choose to do with their lives, that's fine and again, that's their prerrogative.

However, for SPs saying that "money does not mean much to them", I have a problem believing that.

P.S. I do have another job... a few actaully... and some do pay less.

What!? You mean I am not the only one? (JK... I know a lot do... )
It especially helps to get credit cards, a T4 just to somewhat explain how you live.
