After reading the thread about being outed, It got me to thinking (as I am new to all of this) if this has happened to anyone on here. It is one of my biggest fears that I am recognized or know the young lady in question from "outside" the lifestyle.

Why would this be one of your biggest fears ? A lot, if not most of the SP's also try to keep thier working and non-working lives separated. If the two should collide I'm sure she's just as likely to want to keep it quiet as you do.

Its happened to me. I opened the door and it was someone I knew. Albeit; not very well. He didn't figure out who I was until halfway through the session. It was awkward, lol

Happened to me once at a local MP. I was in the waiting room meeting the ladies that were on that evening and the last one to come in was someone that I knew at the time. It was a very awkward moment, the conversation was rather brief and I did not stay. We never, ever spoke of it and I told no one.

Happened to me once, but I didn't realize it until after. She wasn't someone I was ever close with, just a friend of a friend from back in the day. I don't know if she recognized me, but I don't think so. It was a good session but afterwards I realized why she looked so familiar and got weirded out by it. I think if you're dealing with reputable providers and not just trawling CL, that's the worst you have to worry about, that sense of awkwardness. There are plenty of other more likely ways to get caught, but if it's that big of a risk for you, you should probably not be doing this.

yeah i had that happen to me as well, i went into a MP and saw my ex-step cousin. strange thing is we actually stayed for a session together!?!? we always had the hots for eachother. no word ever got out though. no blood relation so i dont think it really matters anyways.

Her --> Opens the door, hiding behind the door...
Me ---> Big Smile...
Her--> You again!!!
Me--> Still Smiling, and silent
Her---> get in here!!
Me--> Still Smiling, starting to drool... and still silent

I guess the question came to my mind as I am very new into this "hobby". I have seen one SP so far. During the session we both kept asking if we knew each other as we both seemed familiar. I will say it was in Victoria and I grew up there, but live in Vancouver now, so the possibility of us knowing each other was there. I guess worried about it was a strong statement, but I do think it would be awkward.

I arrived at someone's house and realized it was my mom's friend's ex husband...haha what a shock but we had a good laugh about it and no one ever said a thing...he later become a very good regular of mine in Calgary...

Somewhere here on Perb there is a similar thread, and a post from someone who made an appointment to see a new provider at an MP who turned out to be his new tenant for a rental property he owned.

IIRC, after initial awkwardness, he went through with the session anyways.

Here's a kicker...worlds colliding

Just this summer a couple months ago, there I was a family gathering.

A distant cousin attended that I always got along with so I said we should exchange numbers, catch up, all innocent conversation with family around.

As I punch her number into my blackberry, it auto-fills to a number already saved!

She even used her real first name.

I quickly made adjustments to my face and said, no problem, I got it saved.

Then I poured myself a double scotch.

Found her on CL; thank god I slack on calling them.

Girl I went to school with used to work out of the Penthouse, back in the day. Some of the ladies had a group of guys they were working and they needed another girl. She joined the party and found herself about to be set-up with her father. Didn't work out.

Yes, has happened to me a few times. One time it was some guy I went a couple dates with before I was escort. Not sure if he recognized me as I was a brunette before, but he called me yesterday for another appointment, lol...

I also have answered the phone to find out it is a guy friend of mine or some guy I have dated or a friend has dated in the past (thank god for caller ID).
