Pooning in China
I am caucasian and have been living in various parts of China off and on for almost 10 years so I feel I can make a fairly accurate review of the Chinese scene. Pooning is a way of life here and opportunites exist almost everywhere.
If as a visitor you are attracted to the bright lights and glitter of the down town areas and hang out in places like Maggies or Club Sommet where the foreigners with western incomes and Chinese high rollers are then you can expect to pay very high prices for your hobby. The rate can be RMB 2500 or more in some places. However there are plenty of reasonably priced establishments around if you look. I doubt very much if you will find something in the CDN $20 range unless you find a farm girl who just fell off of the cabbage truck, but you can get quality for CDN $100 or less.
Here is a typical example here in Shanghai.
A 25 minute CDN$3 taxi ride from my house takes you to a 3 star Chinese tourist hotel in the mid town area. On the 17 floor is a 'health' complex. Hot tubs, sauna, exercise equipment the works. After a good soak and shower you dress and head on down the hall to the lounge where you can sit and drink tea, smoke offered cigarettes, snack on watermelon, apples and pears, get your toe nails cut and generally relax. Off to the side is a smaller lounge where if you are looking for extras you wait for the lineup. In they trot, usually about a 10-12 depending on the day and hour, and you make your choice. After an interval you are taken to one of the hotel rooms which are very nice and very clean. Fresh linen, bath gels and soaps, tooth brushes etc. in the bathroom I usually get a king size room. In comes your chosen one. After a complete head to toe scrub down and vertical massage of sorts in the shower its under the covers for some fun. daty, CBJ, digits, MSOG etc. etc. Elapsed time about 21/2 hours. Cost CDN $65 all inclusive. BTW the CDN$ is about 6.9RMB these days. No English is spoken here so unless you speak Mandarin you need some one local to take you in the first time.
In China there is no two tier pricing as there is in Thailand say. I have a white face and I pay the same as my Chinese brothers.
