I think it was an advisor on the phone. He told me that it could be either from the bj or from skin to skin rubbing during sexual intercourse.
I wish I could reverse time and do it all right again.
Herpes was talked about in the health form when the health nurse was here ..
The remarks made there kind of lead me to believe that more then 50 % of the people in north America have herpes .Many have no signs but can be still contagious , they cal it shedding . . A lot has to do with your immune system and stress levels .. which can cause it to flair up or be dormant for most of your life
There is medication to control out breaks Have they prescribed any for you ?
Actual testing for herpes can only be done right when some one has an out break and active lesions . then they can determine if it is 1 or 2 other wise the test will say positive for herpes .. but not which one ...
It is one of those thing that no one want to admit they have or go get tested for on a regular bases .. we want to put on blinders and say "not me " an escort definitely does not want to know .. because then if they are honest .. They are out of the business !

Just another question edd .. Have you only had sex with escorts ? Any one in the general population can have herpes and not know it ..
You may of caught it years ago and it has been dormant .. Now some thing has triggered it to be active ..
So it is not necessarily an SP .With out some conformation you don't know who or when .. Which I don't think you will get from any of the girls you have meet or notified .

I'm not originally born in North America, I moved here from Asia about 6 years ago.
I was prescribed valacyclovir, and should be recovering now.
I was a virgin up until July of this summer, so there's no way I got it years ago. I've tried to locate the source of it but apparently, all of the ladies I slept with were negative so I have no idea how I got it. Well I guess it's game over for a while for me!

Lets not play stupid here. We all know the risks. The safest thing is to keep it covered but thats not 100% either.
Sorry to hear about your situation guy. I contracted something nasty when i received my first bbbj but fortunately it was cured with antibiotics. I looked at the std chart and unfortunately herpes was the risk for your situation. But i always thought herpes was easier to avoid since you could see if the sp was infectious because she would have something on her lips? Did you engage in any rubbing prior to the condom? Makes me afraid of lfk and dfk now. But it's a risky game we play.
more then likely you have spoken to the lady who passed this to you. I can't see why a SP would admit to having it only to have it spread throughtout the internet by various means. By telling you they don't have it they get to keep their $100 000+ job ......
i would hope that if some other guys come down with it that they would contact edd so they can compare notes and pinpoint the lady that has herpes, how many other guys right now are seeing this lady and then spreading to all of us. Ive never seen as many cold sore anywhere as I have seen in BC. This place seems to be ground zero for this virus. People at work, at starbucks, the supermarket, its everywhere I look.

Condoms do not really protect against it either if the person is in the process of an outbreak. That's the most contagious time, and as long as you are going in deep, there is still skin on skin contact with the likely infected area of the vagina and the base of the penis. I believe the OP said these sores were on the base of the shaft. I don't know about you guys, but condoms very rarely cover the base.
UhOh, herpes is usually only contagious when the person is having an active outbreak. The virus goes dormant after the outbreak, at which point, it is no longer contagious. The cyclovir that the OP is taking will stop the outbreak and hopefully control future outbreaks to prevent the contagious times.
