Herpes Simplex II can be passed by any sort of skin contact with an active area. Don't need fucking or oral sex at all.
For example, a couple sleeping at night in their bed together. They are back to back, with the ass of one touching the low back of the other. One of them has a beginning itching outbreak area on the low back. With contact of that area on the partner's asscheek, there is a likelihood of transmission.
Actually, sex or BBBJ is not so much a common source of transmission, as a herpes outbreak in the mouth or genital area is very unpleasant, painful and very noticeable. Those with such an outbreak are certainly to be aware of their condition and are unlikely to engage in sexual or oral activity... unless they are a needing drug addict or callous about the welfare of others.
