Personally, I don't drink and drive. And I enjoy the realization that I won't kill someone due to being an asshole.
I do recognìze that some people are more altruistic than others though so I understand why saving money was the most important lesson you took from it (although that seems a funny perspective coming from a socialist!! 😘😘😘)

I don't know. It seems like there are some specific members that are happy to shame people with all their content. Its kind of their thing.
I discovered this whole world of escorts/companionship etc… and learned to my great surprise and delight that the exchange of money for sexual pleasure doesn’t have to be seedy and sketchy. There are great experiences to be had that are safe and comfortable, and some fantastic women in this industry. I’ve had the best sexual experiences of my life with some women who are waaaayyyyy out of my league in the real world.
Expensive? Oh yeah, and I prefer not to think about the amounts.

There are a lot of positives in this hobby and still many negatives. I've really noticed though that the majority of my experiences over the past 3+ years have been overwhelmingly positive.
As for cost, friends who have divorced have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to get out of sexless marriages.
And it's not just money that matters. I dated a lot of women over the past 20 years, had some really good longer term relationships (I'm still friends with a few of my exes) but I find that relationship dynamics can be incredibly draining. I really like the time I spend with SPs and then can just walk away.
