The more people respond to my thread the more I like it.

Without a doubt, the people who find me shallow are the same people would feel the same way about their exes if they got dumped!!
But, nooooooooooo...instead...each one of them have to say this!
I have show the world how wonderful I am...after all, I have this beautiful heart, kind soul, gentle spirit and they have to know that!!
Only a fool who want show her or his true human nature, not me. Because I'm a perfect person, I don't have a desire to wish my ex anything but the best.
Now, I look really good!!

Next time, for fun I will start another stupid thread, very stupid one. I will see how far those hyprocrites will go. Life is so wonderful.

Sure, maybe the way the comment was written and perhaps also the fact that a thread was started about it makes it sounds really shallow..
And I know you all love to jump at Miss Meiko's throat.. and she seems to enjoy it more than most of you.. so she set it up perfectly.

But are you seriously all saying you can't relate to the impulsive feeling of gratification at the sight of someone who's majorly and unecessarily been a dick/bitch, whatever, sometime later getting a little kick in the ass by life's events. Nothing life threatening here.. For some it may be in the looks department, for some it may be money, job, friends, spouse, family, life, whatever.

I'm not saying jumping up for joy, emailing all your friends and partying for three days over it kind of gratification.. I mean, that quick thought before you tell yourself you really shouldn't be thinking that or you remember you really don't care enough for it to matter..

Sure, maybe you won't tell anyone about it.. let alone start a thread but if all of you are saying you've never had that moment... maybe with an ex or also could be someone you never dated..just someone from your past.

Truly spoken by someone with a bit of intelligence and honesty. Humans are humans and many of us are not Mother Teresa.I know its not 'right' but hey when a person has been an asshole, and they get a taste of their own medicine, I feel vindicated.

Have you ever watched a group of people watch a hockey game? There is a lot of satisfaction when 'your' team retaliates isn't there???

I fully agree but wouldn't be arrogant enough to then post a thread about it so I could gloat.

I'd be careful with how you proceed. This could be interpreted as trolling, something that is not taken lightly by most boards and could possibly earn you a time out if the mods feel you're trying to incite something.

I saw my ex recently and felt so lucky to got dumped by him. I couldn't believe that at one time I wanted to die because he didn't want to to be with me...how silly of me!!
