I saw my ex recently and felt so lucky to got dumped by him. I couldn't believe that at one time I wanted to die because he didn't want to to be with me...how silly of me!!

actually its pretty normal ... when you have feelings for someone
they typically look better than people you don't have feelings for ...

so once you get over those feelings that person probably doesn't
look any better or worse, just not seen through rose-colored glasses.

Yes, the way I brought up. I never wish my exes well or ill. I usually let them go their own way. I have better things to do, like looking after my own heart. I'm not type a person; can we be friends, after the romance ends...no not me!!

I know nothing warms my heart more than seeing an ex of mine all nasty and ugly and sleeping in his car. Makes me feel cool. So what if I used to do the guy? Now he's nasty and ugly. That makes ME look better. He must have only been hot cause I was with him. I love knowing I used to date hot guys who are ugly now. Hopefully they are poor and miserable too. But maybe that is asking for too much. A girl can dream though right? I bet when they hear me talking about how ugly they are and how cool I am behind their back they just WISH they hadn't dumped me. I think you would feel more pride in actually have done something with your life.

I guess for men it's different, we see it as heh you dumped me because I wasn't rich, powerful or successful enough, or I didn't have a nice car.

It's a great feeling to see someone years later and you are successful.

Men we just get better looking with every passing year.

Old flames for me?, well I actually haven't run into any. I am told though that one girl who I dated in high school....ohhhh she was soooo hot, she wore hot pants so tight...and this is a few years ago. Every guy tripped over his tougue looking at her...for some, god knows what reason, she dated me... she had a dark completion, a well put together italian....wellmy sister ran into her one day and toldme that she is just another italian momma who ate a lot of pasta

There are other flames, that one will always wonder about....what if...great for introverted reflective thinking,...BUT at least for ME, we have this board, and hey I can afford to spend an hour with some of the hottest on the west coast...I can feel like a KING again...the coolest in the class...without the hard work of the chase....

there's some people from the past that i enjoy looking good in front of - snobby bitches, jocks, and anybody else that wasn't kind in high school. then there are others that i like to see them look good cuz they were nice people. i dont' think that there's any one rule that applies to whether i exact satisfaction from somebody else's state, but moreso it depends on the individual and how they treated me. so miss meiko, if the ex was a jackass then yes, exact all the pleasure you can, if he wasn't then be happy if/when you're living a good life (and i'm not saying this picking on you, simply putting forth 2 opposing options).

it's much more rewarding to look good from hard work than it is to stand next to somebody who's down.

They paint a picture of a spoiled little girl with an inexplicable and undeserved sense of entitlement. One would think that in a business such as yours, where gaining 5 pounds can literally destroy your business, you would have more sensitivity to others, particularly when you once cared about them.

Regardless of how your ex looks, beauty is only skin deep (as they say) and your ugliness goes straight through to the bone.

I dealt with the issue of ex's by moving out of the province. I have no idea what any of them look like and couldn't care less. I'm far more concerned about how I look as I age..rather than how ex's look.. how's that for shallow?
