not that I profess to know anything but something to think about

this is a community, communities come together for mutual benefit

some contribute more, some less, some not at all...... that is the nature of a community

its the ones who proactively ask for more and don't give that are the abusers

if you don't contribute fine, by all means use the search engine, read, search, find what interests you.... no problem

but don't ask people to do your homework for you by asking for insight on a sp and don't contribute

many of the contributors do their own searching and reviewing, they don't inquire if anyone has input on a sp, and these are the main contributors

just like welfare or UI (unemployment insurance) there are those who contribute and never receive, those who contribute and have had the misfortune to have to use social assistance, and those who live off the system and have never contributed

not quite what the system was intended for but by and large it is a community based system and self policed

suggest we don't encourage the misuse, and in an non-provocative way encourage the non-contributors to make some effort to contribute

I have a few members that don’t contribute, I don’t scold them for it, it’s just as personal choice as the type of service they request. Some people play video games, some don’t and some who play video games have every concole and some just have one or possibly two, etc
