i've been watching the live broadcast via Nasa's App on AppleTV. You can view it on an IOS App too if you are mobile.
It's friken amazing! The coverage is excellent and they started in Salem OR and are now moving East of Nebraska.
4.4M viewers accounting for 87% of all the US Gov traffic on their sites.
I don't know about you guys but the sun was so bright this morning before the eclipse! It was quite remarkable to not be able to even look in its direction between 07:45 and 09:00

I just stood on the sidewalk squinting. I did not see much although for a brief moment it felt darker. And my eyes are still okay. I think.
Wait... that was a solar eclipse???? I thought it was the end of days. Does anyone know how to retract an email, or a good florist? :twitch:
Actually, got a great view with the good old Post cereal box pin-hole viewer. It gets noticeably cooler and quieter during the maximum transit. I can see how the ancients who didn't know what was actually happening would get rather antsy and start sacrificing all sorts of things......

:wink: Vanessa I think he's being cheeky again, back during the 1979 Eclipse they were drilling it into everyone's head that it had to be a least a #14 welders lens, in the end they just didn't let us outside at school

Well meeting you made eclipse day memorable for me too!
I went walking down at Crescent Beach & received numerous offers to view it through eclipse glasses, and it was phenomenal!
