a yuap couple (that's young urban asian professional) hop out and into the store. In the store I said to them in a loud voice, "I guess you didn't see the handicapped sign." He looked like he wanted to kill me as everyone looked at them. She at least had the awareness to be somewhat guilty. She kept saying to me, "So sorry, we are real quick, so sorry." I just shook my head. Like it's OK if you're not going to use it for long.
Ummm, what the fuck does "Asian" have to do with anything?

Why, in fact, did you have to mention their race AT ALL? What they did was inconsiderate, but race has nothing to do with it.

Watch how you throw around your cute little acronyms

Incidentally, I agree with all of the examples presented in this thread....seems tough nowadays to believe how selfish we've all become :(

Gotta go with smackyo on the table clearing. It's not that you HAVE to clean the table, it's not that you are better than anyone, it's not that you paid for fast food, so it's someone else's responsibility. It SHOULD be that it is not a terrible inconvenience to clean up after yourself and it is the polite thing to do for the next person holding a tray of food trying to find a place to sit. The same attitude seems to apply to the sidewalk, where I constantly see people just toss wrappers and stuff onto the street because someone else will get it. There seems to be this demand for respect from everyone now, but if you want respect you should give respect and ususally just means being somewhat polite and considerate.
