Social night mixing SP's and perbites?

Just a question. I am trying to wrap my head around why we don't do a pub night or a club night. It would be a great place to meet sp's and chat with them... Se what they look like without pictures and maybe meet other perbites .

I think it's a great way to say hello and meet one another...


Thoughts?!?

As long as my work load allows, and it's in the lower half of B.C......I'm in.
This was tried on another site I belonged too in the U.S. ,but because of the distances, it never happened.
Try and pick a place that I won't get thrown out of before 11 PM. I don't get to town much, and I tend to have a little more fun than is socially exceptable.

Bill C-36 can't prevent a body of people from gathering in a public place to socialize with each other for any reason.....This isn't a Dictatorship.
This is Canada, and no Lawyer, or Lawman can take that away from us.
If it's in a public place like a Strip Club, or Pub with a business license for people to meet in a group setting with all the legal fire codes, and public saftey concerns...It's just a group of people getting together.

I am not saying it's going to be a big pick up night. Just a social night. C36 dosent say we can't have a pub night.

We keep it clean....... Somewhat

Don't get me wrong, it totally sounds like fun and it's tempting but while I admire your trusting nature and carefree lifestyle, ever since Canada decided I was a criminal I'm only partially comfortable with certain SP's being able to identify me. Once someone see your face it's not hard to use this internet thingy to identify people.

It's a leap of faith for me to trust enough to allow SP to potentially identify melet alone a bunch of gossipy perbites. Honestly, I'd be more comfortable getting together with a group of non perbite clients. #sadbuttrue

there used to be WERL gatherings..i went to a couple...it was really fun!!! we went to nina leon's house once and the other time i attended it was held at the Steamworks Restaurant. there were both famous perberts and infamous ladies in attendance!!!

its a grand plan i think and if you choose a show lounge for the meeting, its even more private/ safe!!

It been talked about many times . And done both in vancouver and victoria .
I was part of a regular group in victoria. That got together for game night . Or out to a put.. Once had a privet lounge at the travel lodge.. .Some girls would come out to these events.. .

Those that saw it as a great opportunity to net work had fun and got a few new clients along the way .
Others .would rather had worked and made money that night .. some did ..When guys saw them after

But most of all it was guys getting together And a few regular girls that were friends from the business. A time to talk to like minded people .

A few of the agencies had meet and greets through the years . CCE..and VIP .had regular parties a few times a yr ..
But have not seen one of late .

Perb used to have somewhat irregular get togethers at local strip clubs (Cecil and Drake, to be precise).

A word of warning, there can be drama that arises from this sort of mingling... although most of it will probably just be good (un) clean fun.

You have to be very comfortable in your skin, comfortable with the ladies / guys present, and willing to trust that your now public secret remains just that... a secret. I think back on those regular perb meet n greets and wonder if it would've happened in this day and age of ubiquitous hi def camera/video phones. One benefit of the strip clubs is that no cameras were allowed, and now they watch for phones as well... but you get the drift.

Ground rules:

First rule of Perb CLub...."DO NOT TALK ABOUT PERB Club"

1) Only known Perberts current and past
2) Ladies have the right of refusal/review of the guest list. Usually it's no big deal but just to give them the heads up in case there's a "situation"
3) no cameras/recording devices
4) no active phones
5) Name tags with your Perb handle/work name only
6) Social event only. There is no active arrangement of "business" appointments. Do that on your own time.

Planning is done offline and via group email or PM's

Past locations have been at restaurants, photo studios (after hours), condo activity rooms. In all, the gatherings have been great and easy going evenings of snacks n drinks n games. I'd be interested in doing this again even though I've been out of the loop for ages.

I don't think nametags work. More something that's dostinguising line ....... You have to wear a ball cap. Or must wear black. I think doing it at a pub or bar and keeping it private.......

Oh and by the way. It HAS TO BE AFTER MAY 15:... I am going to be out of town and since I started the post its only fair guys.
