Every once in awhile some one suggests they aren't too good in their dealings with others or maybe in particular with women.

Came across this course which is imminent, might be of some help.

Well sorry the link didn't stick on my clipboard, but do a search, you will find it on the net.

Reading briefly on it. Scientists are struggling to quantify, or what is it exactly? Some refer to it as a group thing or perhaps the richness of ones life, or how successful we are in relationships.

For me I spent a lot of time alone when I was younger, I'm behind in the intricacies of socialializing.

I would argue that being alone does not subtract from the richness of ones life.

I have learned a lot actually on social interaction so definitly one can learn.

But I think there are more qualities that go into it that make or give you the richness of life and friendships.
Sympathy empathy kindness caring, etc etc. humor bitterness etc

And I think these things like kindness, sympathy, empathy or hard wired into us from birth.

What is that saying you can put lipstick on a pig but its still a pig.

For me it boils down to one word.. empathy.

It's paramount.

It's hard to teach people to understand 'context'.

My SQ is very low .. but I don't think it is totally that way in all aspects of social interaction .., i do have empathy .. but not on a globe level .. More zone on one .. ,I can interact with people i just meet .. But i have all so been known to hide ,,, in my younger years . I am still not very sociable in groups of new people ,, and will often just leave .. i like shopping or being in stores and malls .. where know one is really interested in the other person just there own stuff .. I don't like selling stuff .. or my self .. but as a self employed person I have to sell my perceived ability to do a job ..

I have to admit my SQ is about the level of a child with issues .. which i had as a child and maybe never fully got over ..
