The biggest "apparent" star (hint.. goalie) lets in so many soft ones lately that one must begin to wonder about him in general. How many 45 foot wrist shots have gone in to the tune of "on a normal day I would not let that in" well, let's hope for more normal days.

Was anyone else playing except Burrows? Was Sundin, Demitra, Pyatt, Raymond, Bernier, Daniel or Henrik on injured reserve list tonight?? No one else except Burrows showed up! They pooped the bed in Phoenix! Maybe they thought they were on vacation in the Phoenix sun, eh?

Had to laugh at Crawford saying how unstoppable the first two goals were.

They were average shots from bad angles that should have been stopped by "the best goalie in the league.".

Crawford has his nose so far up Luongo's ass I'm surprised he can still breathe.

um yeah, considering the first goal was kicked in by Ohlund, you actually watch the game?lol But yeah, for sure he should have had the others.
Though I'd say that was a team effort as far as sucking goes. But don't give the Coyotes any credit for playing a stronger game though right. ;)

Actually they were probably enjoying a nice game of golf. And actually I'd say not even Burrows showed up last night.

Yup, it was a game where pretty much the whole team fell apart. It happens to every team now and then. It's only a problem if they let it continue. What really counts is the game after the game when they fall to pieces. If they can recover for that game, then that's a good sign. If they can't, then it doesn't bode well for the post-season.

Oh, and that empty-netter was heartbreaking. Talk about a one in a million chance.

Yeah, I have to admit, I do enjoy seeing such ridiculously improbable things happen... I just enjoy it more when it doesn't end up costing the Canucks...
yah, I had a feeling after Ohlund kicked in the first one that it was going to be one of those nights.

Oops - I meant the second and third goals, obviously.

We lost to a team that's out of the playoffs, in their building, won only 1 game of their previous 7 games (something like that), and we dont' have the killer instinct?

Do you even follow the Nucks from the past? They always pull this stunt. If they can't beat the 'easy' teams, they're going to have a hard time against Calgary or Chicago, let alone Detroit & San Jose. As much as these latter teams can choke, no one can choke as bad as our Nucks, with bandwagon fans like you, you just jinxed it...

Please show me a team that doesn't choke against an 'easy' team sometimes. As you might know if you had actually followed the Canucks over the last 15+ years, how they perform against an 'easy' team usually has absolutely no bearing on how they perform against a 'good' team. Historically they usually play a lot better against the 'good' teams than against the 'easy' teams.

Like I said, the important thing is to see if they bounce back in the next game and show some of what's made them the hottest team in the NHL over the last month and a half. If they do, then they should have a decent chance of doing well in the post-season. If not, then chances are the post-season is going to be disappointingly short.

Are you really stupid enough to think that if you say something often enough, somehow it starts to become true?

I disagree...

the result, win or lose, in their next game will have absolutely zero impact on how they do in the playoffs...

the Devils went 15-0 in their last fifteen games in 2006 and were promptly knocked out of the playoffs in 5 games by the Hurricanes...

we will only know how the Canucks do in the playoffs once the playoffs start, and not a minute before...

please all you Canuck fans, don't put the cart before the horse...

Easier said than done, Hunsperger; remember, you're dealing with canuckleheads that are so infatuated into thinking that this is a GREAT team with a GREAT goallie with GREAT Swedes, that these dinks--canuckleheads or swedes, take your pick, they're all the same-- they've got their heads up the horse's good cocks ;)

Judging from their passionate yet lame defence of the Nucks, it's really sad that they think Sundin's worth $10mill, he's a great addition, etc.

Bet they conveniently didn't read or remember Luongo's comments on Saturday nite, where's Xerox, Hubbie, ShybutStupid, HotAc, etc?? LOL..

Bobby's finished after his contract ends, and rightfully so.

I challenge you to explain to me how somebody who has been a fan for 15+ years, through good times and bad times, can be considered a bandwagon fan. Are you really that stupid? Wait, don't answer that, because you already have...

No, but it'll be an indication of the team's mental state. Whether they're able to come back from a terrible game like that and play a good game says a lot about their confidence level, and their mental fortitude. If you think that's not important in the playoffs, you're fooling yourself.

Of course, there's still plenty of time between now and the post-season, so if they're mentally able to come back after that now, it doesn't necessarily mean that they will be in the playoffs (and vice versa). It's just an indication.
