As a Canadian who's lived in the US for the past 20 years, I'm surprised at what I'm reading. I've always looked forward to going back to Canada to see friends and family, but also to enjoy my hobby without fear of arrest or legal hassles. From what I read, it seems that this is changing. Many hobbyists in the US see Canada as a haven for enjoy massage parlous, escort services and the rest. What's causing the change? I assume prostitution is still legal, but that law enforcements and civic governments are clamping down on ancillary aspects (solicitation, running a brothel, etc). I'm planning to be in Canada twice in the next few months, including a visit to Vancouver, and would appreciate any advice or counsel that you can offer.

Plus the health and safety issues aren't worth it either (not just STD, but other forms of safety problems). I'm looking for one or two good providers while I'm in Vancouver. Is Craigslist as much as a scam in Canada as it is in the US? How about Eros? I'd also like to find a young lady to take out for an evening without paying exorbitant escort prices (not that the ladies aren't worth it). Dinner, movie, theater ... something of that nature.
