I don't understand how LE can go after those of us trying to play by the rules, when here are a thousand girls coming in and out of town offering incall (hello! play a trumpet louder!) and they aren't doing anything about that?

Why do we get picked on? We aren't on the streets bugging people in the neighborhood, and we're (like I said) playing by the rules.

If you are quiet and not bothering anyone, I think it should be left alone. Let us girls have fun... geez.

I'm not even seeing anyone really, since I got a full time job it's taking up all my time. I'm a good girl now (with bad girl cravings lol)

I believe its as simple as the fact that the out-of-towners are in and out of town so quickly that LE has less chance to go after them. There are many of them, all coming from different jurisdictions.

Plus, if you are one of these morals cops, isn't it a bigger notch on you belt to catch a longer term local than someone that very few people locally have ever heard of??

I'm also not very sure what the actual police could bust most indies for. I know there are escort bylaws and such but in the actual criminal law, there is no law against prostitution at all but instead laws against

communicating for the purpose of prostution in a public place
living off the avails (they go after agencies on this one)
being found in a common bawdy house (massage parlours

etc. Withing those rules it is possible to explicitly pay money for sex and break no laws.

Claire,

if you know the law very well, good for you.

As mentioned in several posts, it is not illegal to be a SP. However, since soliciting is illegal (according to the law), you'll have to make your screenings more thoroughly if meeting new clients.

Best of Luck.
