"The biggest problem is that the science that is connected with the environmental conservation has been primarily championed in the political arena by liberals and socialists for whom Conservatives do not have a very high regard and what they're really reacting to is the political champions of that science, not really the science."You make a good salient point.Sadly the whole "climate change" movement is based on the the idea of Marxist Socialism with the goal per Antifa/Extinction Revolution doctrine of the death of Western Society and the Democracy of what it is based upon. The end goal is a governance structure lead by Globalist Elites who dictate to the masses what is "best for them"....take a look at the USSR for just shy of a century and see how well that worked out.
Canada and the USA have clean air and water etc.In fact Canada has control of the largest lakes in the world them being the "the great lakes" and they are not polluted.

Such naivety is indeed sad to see.All this talk about protesters being paid is so laughable. It is like crying foul if some give David a sling shot to use against Goliath. The typical protesters are giving up their time and money to stand up for what is right. The climate activists are fighting for our future and our children's future. Please, for all our sake - Lead, Follow, or Get Out of the Way.
Starving polar bears? You’re another climate change dupe. Where I live the weather is shitty in the winter time. Been getting worse instead of better that I see. No global warming climate change going on here.Scientists used to believe the earth was flat. Does that mean we should have doubt now that the earth is in fact round? Science progresses. Modern science says that cliamate change is real, as is global warming. And if you still don't believe, how do explain these starving polar bears:

Nothing wrong with being the best stewards of the planet we can personally be.Suzuki, Thunberg, and other climate change activists are saying listen to the science. They are not saying listen to their own research.
If we can't be passionate about averting the climate crisis, then what can we be passionate about?
If you think the way to connect with huge portion of the population is through only facts and not emotions, the advertising industry needs you. I personally believe you need both facts, and connection on emotional level to effect change, but I am not a marketer, so what do I know.
Please just Get Out of the Way.Such naivety is indeed sad to see.
I’m not blocking any train tracks at least. Please just Get Out of the Way.
I think we have some common grounds here.Nothing wrong with being the best stewards of the planet we can personally be.
The probem I have with "climate activists" is they often pick and choose (as many of us do) what science they want to put forth.
Is climate changiing? Yes, it seems to be in many places.
Is it man-made, a natural cycle or a combination? That's where it gets dicey. Forest fires created by lightning strikes, volcanic activity, and natural seasonal floods and fires create a lot of pollution that could affect climate. Me driving to get groceries once a week, not so much, but millions of us driving could.
I hate the either/or arguments, and being told I'm evil for being sceptical about the problem, and moreso - the motives behind those pushing their arguments - on either side.
What you are trying to block is much, much bigger than any train tracks, with much more dire consequences.I’m not blocking any train tracks at least.
What was that old story about chicken little? Oh yes, the sky is falling. Some things never change it seems. What you are trying to block is much, much bigger than any train tracks, with much more dire consequences.
In the event we can't fix the climate crisis, I hope you live a very long life and see for yourself, and I hope by then you will look beyond your own neighborhood. What was that old story about chicken little? Oh yes, the sky is falling. Some things never change it seems.
Believe what you want. I can see past the rhetoric and bullshit. Maybe you will someday too.In the event we can't fix the climate crisis, I hope you live a very long life and see for yourself, and I hope by then you will look beyond your own neighborhood.
In the event we do manage to fix the climate crisis, I also hope you live a very long life, and I will be happy to have a drink with you and let you tell me how stupid I was and that there was never any climate crisis. I don't need to tell you what actually happened by then.
How about we agree on one thing.Believe what you want. I can see past the rhetoric and bullshit. Maybe you will someday too.
